Glad you posted that, I meant to but was so amazed at the INTC warnings party ramp that I plumb fergot!

Looks like they're using the "business is so good we couldn't get enough parts to keep up" gambit (first made famous by, ironically enough, INTC):

The Company indicated that interruptions in the supply of a specific integrated circuit (IC) used as a component in one of the Company's largest custom LCD programs was the primary reason for reducing fourth quarter revenue expectations to $36 to $38 million from the $44 to $46 million range previously given. Revenue in this range should result in earnings per share to be in the range of $0.08 to $0.10 compared to the previously targeted range of $.19 to $.20 per share.

Is it me or does it seem like all these mysterious supply-chain problems started cropping up just after B2B procurement became fashionable? <NG>
