Oh my goodness, MM, that's the most anti-Bush nasty piece I've read yet in the general press. While I agree with a lot of the points, dragging Lee Atwater into it from beyond the grave, as well as statements like the following: It is too late for Bush to reclaim the mantle of "uniter, not a divider;" he has long since given the lie to that. But it may not be too late for him to reclaim his soul. Scare me a bit. IMO, nobody looks good when making statements about other's souls. That's not for us to judge. OK, you atheists out there, have at me. :)
