"PIV To Deliver Profit Margins"

Until AMD gets some corporate business, I've always thought that they were vulnerable to Intel using the PIV strictly in the consumer space to take market share from AMD; so what if they sell no PIIIs into retail? As long as corporate America continues to buy Intel only why couldn't they maintain their margins on the PIIIs?

Given the infrastructure issues for Intel, however, I don't think they can or will do this. Plus, I do think AMD is going to make progress on the corporate side too.

Memories of K6 getting slaughtered by Celeron still haunt me. I'm a worrier in case you didn't already notice.

Regards,

Jeff
