No formal legal education for me. However, my grandfather, who was lucid 'til he died at 93(I was 30), passed the bar without ever attending a single college class in his life. He, in retirement, sometimes was invited to speak at yearly state bar association meetings. He was known as the "resident philosopher." I used to like to read his speaches and discuss points with him. My favorite uncle, his son, is also a lawyer. I spent plenty of time around them both so long as I could anyway, and all I've got is what's rubbed off.
I really don't think that I, as the messenger, am the point, now am I?
But by all means, go ahead and attack the man instead of the point, if that's where you are headed. Your ammunition is above.
Goodnight all.
