Kanakaris Wireless Achieves Stunning Breakthrough in Video Quality Over
The Internet, Setting Stage for Challenge to Video Stores;Patent Applied for in
Technology Which Can Deliver Movies to all Internet Enabled Devices From
PocketPCS to TVs in Better-Than-Home Video Quality

COSTA MESA, Calif., Dec 7, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Kanakaris Wireless
(OTC Bulletin Board: KKRS) today announced that it is applying for patent
protection on an encoding technology which could help the Internet supplant home
video as the #1 source of revenue to the movie industry. Kanakaris will use the
technology on its CinemaPop.com web site and will offer the encoding process as
a B-to-B service for all companies seeking improved video delivery over the web.

"Every web site would like to have enhanced video, and Kanakaris has a
proprietary way of it being achieved which will bolster our revenues and take us
into B-to-B services," said Alex Kanakaris, CEO.

CinemaWEAR(TM) is the name of a technology jointly patented by developer Robert
Wood and CEO Alex Kanakaris and which is exclusively available from Kanakaris
Wireless.

On Quality:

"At a 100k stream the visual quality conveys the look and feel of a 300K
stream," said Robert Wood, technical director of Kanakaris Wireless.

"Through the creation of a stable stream we are able to deliver a 100k stream
which plays at 15 frames per second. The visual quality when viewing is pleasing
to the eye (the stability eliminates 'jerkiness' and has the appearance of a
full motion picture).

"At a 300K stream the visual quality conveys the look and feel of a stream much
closer to 750K. Through the preparation of a stable stream we are able to
deliver a 300k stream which plays at 24 fps for film and 30fps for video media.
The visual quality when viewing provides the viewer with a rich and full motion
cinema experience. Since CinemaPop.com is about films, we have developed a
process which, when used in conjunction with the Windows Media platform,
delivers full cinema quality of 24 fps without compromising rich color and clear
and full sound.

"Film, when displayed in cinema, form has an apparent look and feel -- a
'rhythm' if you will. The delivery of films on the Internet thus far has been
lacking this 'rhythm of motion' that is inherent to a true cinema experience.

"Without 'rhythm of motion' viewing steaming media on the Internet can be
unpleasant. Our process virtually eliminates artifacts or what is commonly
referred to as 'pixellation' and delivers a quality stream at lower bit rates.
With our CinemaWEAR process a viewer at 300k can enjoy a complete cinema
experience at 24fps. The resulting quality has the appearance of current streams
which play in excess of 700k.

"Through this process CinemaPop is now able to deliver a higher quality viewing
experience at lower bit rates. See for yourself, the proof is in the picture,"
said Robert Wood, technical director of Kanakaris Wireless.
