FWIW It was just confirmed to me yesterday that my contract would not be renewed. There were three of us on it and the quote we got was it "was not the quality of work, but the cost of it." Well no shit. This was no surprise to me even though my manager seemed dumbfounded given the reports he's read. I tried explaining the current state of the venture capital markets, but he's a big time Clown. The contract was for a dot com that was based on "concepts" to quote Fleck. They had hopes of going public soon, but they're a little bit too late if you know what I mean.... LOL No worries. I've got Big Blue to find something for me. Or else if some poots hit big time I will be going into a new profession. -ggg-
