zwolff: Last I heard AMD's #1 expectation of 8 to 9 million Q4 processors was based upon 43 to 45 million worldwide. Yesterday's numbers suggested 40 million in Q4...All other things equal, lop off 10% from 8 to 9 mmillion and one arrives at 7 to 7.5 million...If AMD makes target of 8 to 9 million in this environment, we longs should all be ecstatic...Anything over 7 million will support a price much higher than todays $14-1/2 based upon fundamental analysis...but the market, as we have seen, is currently holding sway!!!
