Heard on the radio this morning that nervous retailers are cutting prices further on all items including pc's. Eventually the law of supply and demand will kick in and PC inventories will be reduced by years end. Since we are talking about reductions in the rate of pc sales only, manufacturers will need to produce to meet the need. To be competitive PC's will need to be upgraded. They all will need chips. Internationally pc sales should be fine unless US drags the world into some sort of global recession(unlikely imo). With intel down 60%,with the economy flattening out now, and with the fed now aware of the danger of recession, we should be on the move up again by Q2 at the latest. Would you sell intel now or would you be accumulating at these prices? The future markets are saying accumulate this morning.
