About two weeks before the election, I was listening to one of the more notable talk show hosts spouting off about the polls and particularly the Rasmussen poll showing a huge lead for Bush. He was obviously trying to create momemtum for Bush. Of course he doesn't mention those polls now that we know the results of the election. He was not alone.
Almost all of those conservative talk show hosts were predicting a huge victory for Bush in the popular vote. They said it was because the country was conservative. <g>
