Goldman's Cohen Positive on Small Stocks

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Abby Joseph Cohen, one of Wall Street's most
widely watched strategists, on Friday said she sees a favorable environment
for small- and mid-cap stocks.

The Goldman Sachs & Co. (NYSE:GS - news) analyst, a leading Wall
Street bull, said she expects a ``favorable macro environment for small- and
mid-cap investing.''

``Smaller issues offer attractive relative valuation, following an extended
period of share price underperformance,'' Cohen said in a note to clients.
