I believe the election WOULD have been a sizable win for GWB, but for two things.

1. The NAACP division of the DNC, put out a lying ad that leaves one with an inference that a black man was literally killed by Gov. Bush. The ad was an outright DNC dirty trick maneuver.

2. The oui story that was held and TIMELY put out by the DNC. Even though I agree that GWB could and should have disclosed this years ago, he did not, and the DNC held it until just the right time to cause at least a one point swing and maybe two in the final days of the campaign, IMO.

These two snake belly low tricks made the final point swing difference, and the DNC was right in the middle of both of them.
