If memory serves me correct, there used to be a similar "current events" test several-score years ago. I believe only white males that owned land could vote, and it was illegal in slave states to teach African-Americans to read and write. What you're proposing, of course, is an extension of that. Keep up the good work. Don't take that thinking cap off today ... you're on a nice roll!
