Copper interconnects. NVLS and IBM were the first to implement this process. Everyone is on the bandwagon now. It's a technology upgrade. AMAT is the 800 pound gorrila of the sector and came up with their own machines but NVLS is believed to have the dominant share for this type of equipment. Apart from that NVLS is simply an AMAT wannabe. On another note, Dan Niles chimed in again this morning. He is calling for a head fake rally in the sox. This is the guy who picked MU as his top pick when it was trading at 90 and downgraded the communication chip companies when they had already taken big haircuts and now trying to redeem himself by hoping there is more downside and he call a bottom. lol.
