I agree, if I had my druthers, you would have a system that produced a completed ballot, based on a touch screen system. That ballot would be produced from a printer like an airline ticket. The ballot would be able to be read optically (As well as by a human). That ballot would then be able to be verified by the voter, eliminating any credible claim of confusion. You would be able to keep several cross foot type totals via machine and human, to verify that you have all the votes, (Or dont have too many, like Cook county, ahem Mr. Daly)
