Bullets do" If God was truly just testing for obedience, He could have easily picked something else like "Don't run with scissors" as the litmus. That the object of disobedience is the Knowledge of Good and Evil must be symbolic in some way, yes? Which leads me to a more serious question... do you believe the story in Genesis is symbolic?
