That is only a small group. The mutual funds made a lot of money early in the year and they are distributing it now. A losing fund for the year and a tax-bite on the top is a little bit harder to swallow for the Joe6pak MF holders. The mainstream media is encouraging them to realize losses by selling some funds for loss to offset the gains they received. This means redemptions. You only need a small amount of redemptions to get the snowball rolling. At least that is what I am basing my speculative bets on. Fingers crossed!

BTW, Oracle Jan 20s puts look good.
