"I'm pretty much convinced."

Still. Do you remember Jerry saying something to the effect that the K6 is smaller die than Celeron and if they want to get into a price war "bring it on."

Sometimes when things go bad for a company, they will take advantage of the opportunity and clean up their balance sheet, take some charges, etc. If Intel continues to struggle and the stock price went down 50% again, a good chunk of the execs options would be underwater. At that point in time, they might just enter into a Jihad to destroy AMD. Fortunately, AMD is much more competitive this time and the price for Intel would just be huge.

Thanks again for responding to my questions.

Jeff
