Dear Zoltan: I have never had a problem with the 3 jeeps I own that was not covered by warranty. I service my vehicles by the book. Compared to autos they are subjected to the abuse of rough trails, yet they hold up great. The Acura also was very reliable until it went out of warranty, when normal things started going I got STICKER SHOCK at the cost of replacements. Example, muffler Jeep Cherokee $35 Muffler (knock off) Acura $128. I keep my vehicles for a very long time, the Cherokee has over 180,000 miles on it and my son drives it now. The Grand has 57,000 miles on it and of course the Wranger is new. I am not knocking foreign cars, merely stating that the new American vehicles IMHO are equally as good and FAR CHEAPER to maintain.
