Dan, <Dean Kent had this little blurb today on the KM133: Note that this chipset specifically supports the mobile market as well as the desktop market. Intel has reportedly been shifting emphasis towards the high-end and notebook markets because of the higher margins, and allowing AMD to gain more share of the low and mid-range desktop markets. With the Mustang core line of processors (Morgan and Palomino), AMD will be able to finally offer solutions in the mobile market that should compete very well against the Intel offerings. (from realworldtech.com > Thanks for posting. I went and checked the blurb as well as the VIA press release. The good news is this is available in volume now. So, at least the 1G/1.13/1.2G parts will not be sitting on AMD shelves for much longer and we now have a reasonable volume platform for Athlon/Duron for mid-range. Not bad at all. Chuck
