I just looked at my retirement portfolio. It's up about 15 fold since the early 80's. I never sold anything from it either. I just keep on making my S@P 500 contribution during the first week of January of each new year.

I'll tell you a secret: In 12 years when I can start pulling some money out, it will probably be up another 10 fold.

PS I think you'd make a good actress on Broadway. But it's all part of the Economic Cycle.
