Jim, The biggest rally came on the Greenspan speech, that implied that the FOMC would adopt a neutral bias. I do agree with you that this election stuff needs to be out of the way before we can mount a meaningful rally. And I think a stronger rally would take place with a Bush win than a Gore win. But if you think that's the only thing holding the market by the ba--s, you are wrong. To quote one of your favorite people "It's the economy, stupid". John
