I bought a stock today on rumor of a 10:1 F/S... of course it tanked. Of course, now I find out it is a paid promo. This is where the promoter starts a rumor of a F/S then knowing volume will come in, sits on the offer and sells $350,000 worth of stock over a two day period... By the time people realize what is going on and head for the exits, the bids evaporate instantaneously... now those who didn't get out are stuck with it... Me included. No more F/S stocks for me. Only stocks with no paid promos and that have solid, verifiable fundamentals. Everything else is a scam. There was a time that paid promos worked out.... now, none of them do. Companies and their shareholders are being ripped off left and right. Tom
