My reading of the election is that Bush is going to win and that if this makes any difference in what the markets do, one should invest accordingly.

My own plan is, if confusion still prevails early next week, (i.e. Monday) and if the market drops a lot, I will close my DIA short position and wait to see what happens next. I think in the next few months the bear market will resume, and this time it will take the Dow down, but I don't feel like sitting around on a losing short position if everyone is singing glory hallelujah and pouring more money into the markets. And I think Bush supporters here and abroad have more money than Gore supporters.
