A simple majority of the Florida legislature can appoint a slate of electors who will vote for Bush. He wins. If they get into an irreconcilable wrangle, Gore wins. I think Gore is trying for the wrangle.>> If Bush tries to steal the election this way I hope a democrat state does the same thing. Where will we be then? I say count the damn votes. All of them. Bush could have been a hero if he agreed to this in the first place. Now everyone will see clearly that not only did Gore win the popular vote but Florida as well.
