Being a European I did not have a vote in the US election. I am appaled how I have now been taking hostage to this election mess. The only words of wisdom in this situation I can find are the words of the dissenting opinions of the FSC judgement. I urge you to read it. Unfortunately, I cannot copy and paste, but you can find a copy at CNN. One more tidbit: "I am more concerned that the majority is departing from the essential requirements of the law by providing a remedy which is impossible to achieve and which will ultimately lead to chaos.... The uncertainty of the outcome of this election will be greater under the remedy afforded by the majority than the uncertainty which now exists. The circumstances of this election call to mind a quote of the football coaching legend Vincent Lombardi ´We did not lose this game we just ran out of time.´" (p. 68 et seq.).
