Hi Rose,

That Martini sounds good.
Vodka and Cranberry juice is a good combination.

I always think of a Martini having Gin or Vodka mixed with Vermouth.

I see now it has more to do with how you prepare it, and the ratio of alcohol to mixer and the cool looking glass it gets served in.

I had my first ever Martini a little over a month ago.
My father-in-law usually orders one when we go out to a restaurant. One evening I decided to join him in one.

It sure puts a smile on yer face...

I prefer the tiny onions over the olives.

<Clappy takes three salted peanuts and puts them into his mug of beer.>

...somehow, having food in a Martini or mixed drink is O.K. but food in a beer just doesn't cut it...

<Polvie stares at the small amount of backwash floating in his beer and sees the tail of a half eaten Goldfish Cracker. He grabs a toothpick and spears it like an olive and finishes eating it...>
