Rose, guess what. I finally managed to... ...buy puts on the QQQ after wanting to every big up day lately. I put in a limit order on the QUEMM Jan 60 puts. @ 2/34. Plan was to hold for a couple of points on a day that earnings preannouncements would likely tank NAZ. I had three hours out of here (biz meetings) and came back at about 4 p.m. (CST) to learn of the Fla Supreme Ct. decision. Just now, I checked what they closed at -- they were @ 3 3/4! ... and now, come Monday, because of all the Bush zealots who mistakenly believe that Republican presidencies are "better for the stock market" than Democrats, market will tank. And I'll make more money on these puts. I don't want or like to see the market tank, for sure, but I feel like it's about time I start doing a little hedging of my long portfolios to make some money without selling those LTB&Hs during down markets. I had to tell somebody about my QQQ puts ... LOL! Hope you don't mind ... 'b-i-a' ###
