Jim, What is even more strange is that all 3 seniors justices dissented. Again, that goes to my feeling that the wise ones in US Supreme Court will overturn FLA, for the public good. I am sure the USSC justices are going to be reflecting the feelings of the FLA chief justice. They may disagree but will rule against Gore, again for the public good. I think the best judges now realize what the practical solution is and will ensure it happens. We just had an unusual situation that 4 newer court members did not use their head. Again, because USSC is not totally Democrat appointed, we will get 1 or 2 wise liberal judges rule in favor of Bush while the Republican appointees will all rule in favor of Bush. All they need is a majority and that could be quite easy. It is really no longer about laws, it is about avoiding constitutional problems that FLA chief justice pointed to. it will be over next week.
