I hope this thread doesn't die.

Clearly Advalorem has spent a great deal of time and effort trying
to build up interest here. He has added much in the way of useful
content. It would seem that a clash of personalities risks undoing
all that has been done thus far.

As a frequent contributor to another thread on SI I know how easy it
is to butt heads with one another, but the fact of the matter is
this is an open forum and not a clubhouse. As a result there will
be times when tempers flare and criticism becomes real personal.
In these instances the "ignore" button is perhaps the best solution.

I am not for banishing anyone from any thread, but I am not for
unravelling the thread because of hurt feelings and emotions
running high.

Let's try to get back on track and keep the discussion lively
and entertaining.
