<<Here's the Kodiak bet (I been wrong so many times once more won't hurt my reputation). Al Gore will never be president of the U.S. because we won't let the courts choose our president. It may get ugly, it may take the Florida legislature and ruin a lot of political lives, but Algore will never sit in the White House as C-in-C.

I hesitate to even suggest this, given that this is a public forum and easily traceable medium, but, hey, we supposedly have free speech in this country (provided it is speech the politically correct powers approve of) but if Gore were to pull a coup de 'tat (sp) with an 'illegal' use of the courts, there would be a significant number of people in this country motivated to take him out forcefully. I wonder how many members of the Secret Service would be willing to give thier lives to protect him. This is potentially a very dangerous situation. The hatred of Clinton with his antics have stirred up a lot of crazies, and I'm surprised no one ever took him out. (although there was that guy who dive bombed the white house with his airplane) I think four years of Gorp would send some of these guys off the deep edge.
