Re: Politics in America has changed forever because of this. It's not that big a deal. We aren't at war, and the economy (excepting the NAZ) is in good shape. Gore has a less engaging personality than many clumps of earth I've seen (and that does matter for a leader), while Bush is callous and stupid. Many of you fear that Gore might go too far on environmental initiatives and attempting to reduce economic inequalities, but congress would stop him there. Bush has the capability of making mistakes (he really doesn't seem very bright, and has nearly zero government experience) and might appoint some borderline religious fanatics to the supreme court, but that's by no means certain.
