Nadine, blah blah blah, you evade my point and simply restate yours. ANYONE would be in severe consitutional legal jeapordy if they accepted, past current legal deadlines, votes recovered from ONLY PARTISAN TERRITORIES. Again, the ONE Thing good in this current decision is what went against Gore...the REFUTATION of his notion that only his chosen territory should be counted, and that that would somehow be fair. His Lawyers LOST BIGTIME on that point today, as I've been saying they would in SOME court, for a month now. You can cut through a lot of legal wrangling if you stick to the basic fairness our constitution demands. My notion here applies to BOTH issues addressed in this post...irrevocably! I praise these liberal Justices for making this clear, and little else at this point. But it needed to be done and is a good thing in and of itself, IMO. The best, taken alone. Dan B
