Dan,

Where did I say I was worried?

I'm not.

But it IS a big deal. The failure of our system to elect someone who will be considered the legitimately elected President is the problem - no matter who is inaugurated on 1/20/01.

Until this issue is resolved, we will be in a political maelstrom.

It will take at least until the 2004 election results are in before we know have any inkling of what the long term political effect will be.

We, as a people, have been there before and have gone on to create this wonderful country. All the problems with its governance have yet to be fixed, but after all, we have only had 215-220 years.

It will take more time but we will be just fine.

I am maintaining my optimistic view in spite of the current events.

Barry
