I agree. It's either grossly out of context, or misquoted. We'll see.

I voted Gore this time because I am very much opposed to both the tax cut & any privatization of social security investments. Any, because it's a slippery slope. On the other hand, as many here know, I am vehemently anti-abortion and pro-death penalty (if fairly applied). Gore is also pro-death penalty. I think we need an abortion status quo for now, as any overturning of Roe v. Wade would now polarize the nation. I was also, as a Catholic, very unforgiving of GWB's appearance at Bob Jones University. Those Christians make my skin crawl. So it was a tough choice.
