But ain't it great to see those noncounted votes back in the loop!

Logic would say it's utterly ridiculous to hold an election and it comes out virtually a tie and then have one candidate sell-annoint himself 'cause he's got a partisan campaign co-chair in the highest position of the state of his brother-governor, and then when the other candidate requests a reasonable hand recount and can't get it because of the self-annointment process.

Who knows how the votes will come out. I don't. It could be Gore; it could be Bush. But at least when the votes which never got counted due to machine difficiencies, once they're all counted, or those which can reasonably be counted, it'll produce a known winner into the collective public consciouness. Popular opinion should take over from there.

And it would be nice to match the electoral college will with that of the national popular vote. Yes, that'd be nice!
