Patricia,
You first statement does not accomplish or prove anything. Would you be happy if we had Gore and Bush sit down and take an IQ test, and the best man wins? Lol. That is a whole other debate, and not worth our time.
You seem to have missed the entire point of my question. As for the rules, we must have them to have order in our lives. Without them we have chaos.
I do understand liberals, very well actually. That is why I am not one.
I can see that you don't want to play my game because it has rules and games with rules have winners. You would lose and that is why you don't want to play. No problem, I will be here and the offer to play the game stands. I will not change the rules or the question.
The real question is do you have the ability to suspend your own views for just enough time to understand my question?
I am not slipping. I am so far ahead of you, that is it like a mirage and you need water. I can wear your shoes, I can see where you come from, and that is why I will always beat you at a game with rules and facts.
As for your attempt to answer the question, well it was a good try. Too bad it was the wrong question.
I will make the question easier to understand. I will use your own answer to make the point.
What is Bush to do in the face of a man who does not respect even the basic rules of fair play. A man who thinks he can change the rules that our democracy has defined to suit his purpose. The question is, does Bush allow himself to lose because he won't fight fire with fire, or does he compromise his principles to protect the greater good? It is the greater good to keep a man like Gore out of office. I never would have made this kind of statement before this election mess. I never realized just how far Gore would go.
You see all is fair in love and war, and this is war. Gore made it war, not Bush. When they attack you must choose to counter-attack or defend. Otherwise you lose, and that is not an acceptable answer. Do you understand this?
Gore does not love democracy. Democracy is just a horse Al rides when he needs to get somewhere. You don't see it because you don't want to.
It saddens me, it really does.
