Telstra says all is well with PCCW venture thedeal.com MELBOURNE -- Telstra Corp. Chief Executive Ziggy Switkowski Thursday dismissed suggestions the company is at odds with Hong Kong-based Pacific Century CyberWorks Ltd. over their infrastructure joint venture. Responding to reports that PCCW plans to build an international cable network spanning Asia, the U.S., Western Europe and the Middle East independently of Telstra, Switkowski said PCCW has been up front about its infrastructure ambitions outside of Asia. Telstra and PCCW are seeking syndicate members for the joint venture's $2 billion debt program. (Dow Jones)
