Dear Scrapps: I think that unlikely, but if it happened then Bush would just make his REAL VP a high level Cabinet officer and ignore the VP. That would have a nice advantage in that his Senate seat would go to a Republican. JDN
PS: I now think what is most likely is that Gore will steal this election through vote manipulation and the Congress and Courts will accept it rather than plunge the nation into a crisis. We will suffer through 4 years of fighting, corruption, high taxes, recession or worse, and at the conclusion Gore will be dumped on his Ass and a Republican will come in and clean up the mess. I wouldnt mind so much if I were younger but at my age I hate to waste even 4 years.
