| Ish, I know what you mean, the sheer ignorance of some of these people is astounding! Blaming Bush for stuff from the Carter Era; predicting interest rates going higher than they ever have, except for some unsecured credit accounts; spouting the usual claptrap about how the Reagan expansion wasn't "real", because of deficits, even though the "Clinton" expansion is real, despite deficits; attributing the state of the economy primarily to the government, instead of Silicon Valley et al; jeering at Bush for failing at oil exploration, a tricky business with a high failure rate, but not crediting him with making the Rangers a lucrative franchise, as closer observers do; talking about Bush's privileges, although he grew up in a modest ranch house in Midland, attending public schools until prep school, and ignoring Gore's upbringing in a luxury residential hotel, his schooling at the snootiest prep school in Washington, and his inheritance of his father's mantle in Tennessee.
