If the SC allows the recount to continue and Gore takes a substantial lead Bush needs to concede. IMO,Gore broke the unstated rules by pursuing the election in the courts. He will pay a steep price for this some day. But that shouldn't stop Bush from doing the right thing. And that also includes the Florida legislature and Jeb.
I am sickened by the FLSC decision. I am praying that the USSC grants the stay and then "quickly" overturns them. But if they dont do this, I want Bush to be the better man just as I wanted Gore to do the right thing earlier.
And to all the democrats who think they are about to win a principled victory, you have no principles. You know deep in your soul that you would have taken the opposite position in different circumstances. I believe Bush wouldn't have taken the Gore route and hope that Bush can be a big enough man if the situation arises.
