I think it's worth noting that in the FL SC hearing that one of the Justices specifically asked both parties whether any the undercount votes that were reviewed and recorded for either Bush or Gore were contested by either party and the response was "No". Hence leading to the decision to include the votes. So it seems that even with all the "in front of the CNN camera" bashing of the standardless process; in fact the intent of the ballot was determined [or divined if you prefer] to the satisfication of all the parties in the Courtroom representing both sides. [I pay more attention to what the parties say in front of the FLSC than what the say in front of a CNN camera.]
