The FLSC just proved that Lawyers will rule this country

I agree, but not "will" rule, but "do" rule, at least at the top. What we are seeing is the old saying about all power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. The lower courts are not that bad, at least they have to worry about having checks and balances above them. But when you get to the "supreme" lawyers ... I mean, courts ... they can do whatever they want, with no checks or balances. They can overrule the constitution, the existing law, or common sense. Corruption reigns, personal agendas reign, bias overcomes fairness.

This is something even our founding fathers could not have foreseen. They worried about professional politicians taking over, instead wanting ordinary citizens to lead the country. They worried about executives or legislators having too much power, and instituted checks and balances. They worried about the constitution being undermined. But they never thought that the judicial branch would be ruled by biased, incompetent, corrupt lawyers. If so, they might have let the people have the last word, making it simpler to impeach judges.
