Roe v. Wade has undermined the judiciary's ability to maintain respect in this country more than any other decision. I think even the most strident pro-abortion attorney would have to objectively agree that the Constitution has no language that can be read to supply a Constitutional right to an abortion.

On this one issue, I can see where my friends on this thread (excluding Doltan! who has rabies) have a point as to the dangers of judicial activism. If rights can be created from the Constitution or statutes that cannot conceivably be read to provide for such a "right" then our laws become meaningless.
