Dr. Id, there have been some ugly rumors floating around SI about your qualifications to run this thread.

It will be simple to refute them. Just post some of your case results, and the overall cure rate for addicts who have come to this thread for help.

If the rapidly declining posting volume on the Addiction Room is indicative of cures, you are an outstanding healer indeed.

There is a rapidly declining posting volume on all of SI due to my herculean efforts toward battling addiction. It has been attributed to many factors, such as declines in the market and the proliferation of other investment sites, but I can unequivocally state that the sole reason is my ceaseless effort to combat this problem.

Unfortunately, in addition to my role in bringing about the decline in number of posts, I seem to have had a similar impact on my portfolio.

And as to those ugly rumors, I'm afraid that they are true.
