"I am watching my pals being put out on the streets, resumes in hand, all telling the exact same story ... "how I got dotbombed". Jay,,,you are not alone...a number of folks at my firm left some rather nice comfie situations to join as COO or CEO of a number of the marquee names that were all the rage just months ago, now with their options completely under water and their portfolio in tatters...I always think of George Shahan (sp?) the ex CEO of Andersen Consulting who left a multimillion dollar position to become CEO of WebVan with promises of zillions....WBVN was some 25-30 when he got his options, now under $1.00!!...pure pain.
