Yes I am a liberal . I haven't changed much from the 60's. To me liberal means to be free. It's more of a left brain rather than a right brain thing. However these people who call themselves liberal are not liberal in the classical sense of the term. They are statists/socialists who prefer the chains and bondage of government in return for a promise of security. They reject God and accept government.
Me I reject the rule of both religion and government. That to me means freedom.
