Thanks for your detailed reply dissecting Intel's numbers.

The issue is not only Intel's slowing revenue and earnings growth numbers, but also that Intel's management seems so repeatedly surprised by its own numbers. Apollo put it well in his post: "CEO Barrett indicated at the beginnning of the week that he was expecting a record quarter, and now Intel warns on Thursday after the bell. Go figure."

I don't think it is too much to ask that a management team get its arms around the company's own numbers.
