While it's true that only one Supreme Justice needs to hear that "Gore was ahead", they also will hear, as we all are hearing, of a chaotic system with different standards in every county. No matter how you count, the system cannot handle the degree of accuracy for an election this close. Accordingly, you have to stick with the rules in place BEFORE the election...thus Bush wins. It really IS that simple, and it appears that the USSC is seeing it that way now.

I do have one question...what about the two absentee ballot suits that went against Gore? Are those still up for Florida Supreme Court appeal? Are those suits moot?
