Who published Frank's printing of the book?

I have the original edition, first printing, published by Houghton Mifflin in 1992.

Gore never said it, not in any edition.

EDIT: I found Frank's post on the subject.

Penguin is a paper back publisher. The edition I have is the original hardcover put out later in a Penguin paperback, I see.

The quote was disinformation, and has, judging by the credulity seen here, been very effective.
