nadine, now tot rash the fl supreme court. do you know they broke florida law in their ruling? fl law CLEARLY states that no partial recount can be accepted.

what do the fl supremes do? they give al gore the votes in a partial miami dade recount. gee, isn't it nice that the precincts tallied were nearly 75% gore when the entire county was 53% gore? THIS IS PRECISELY WHY PARTIAL RECOUNTS ARE AGAINST THE LAW. one ought not be able to cherry pick partial counts (ok, i've been watching too many lawyers on tv, but the point stands ;-)

one could make a cogent argument that sl supremes were "interpreting" law and not "legislating" it before.

i don't believe it is now possible to reach a conclusion other than the fl supreme court is now legislating law to gore's benefit.
